Spanish wineries host eclipse‑themed wine tastings across Aragon and Catalonia

Hacienda Molleda in Tosos, Aragon, will hold a sunset wine tasting on 11 August as a preview for the total solar eclipse on 12 August. The event includes a guided vineyard tour, a three‑wine tasting with local appetizers, a sunset toast that simulates the eclipse, and night‑time stargazing of the Perseids, with safety glasses and a complimentary bottle of wine for each guest.

Across Catalonia, several wineries are offering eclipse‑linked experiences on 12 August. Jean Leon in Torrelavit will host a “Totality” dinner with a masterclass by astronomer Joan A. Català, live music and a charity benefit for the Red Cross. Priorat’s Ferrer‑Bobet will provide an intimate tour, premium wine pairing at the Quatre Molins restaurant, and commentary by astronomer Xavier Palau. Other estates such as Clos Mogador, Celler Devinssi, and Oller del Mas have planned dinner, wine tasting and music events tied to the eclipse, though some high‑priced experiences were cancelled due to low demand.
