Spanish athletes secure multiple international medals in canoeing and wrestling

Spanish athletes are achieving significant results across multiple international sporting events. In Poznan, Poland, the World Sprint Canoe Championships are underway. The Spanish women’s K4 500 team, including Daniela García, secured a direct spot in the final after winning their heat with a time of 1:39.33. Other Spanish paddlers, such as Àngels Moreno and Manuel Fontán, have also advanced to finals or semifinals in various categories.

At the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, Italy, the Spanish wrestling team has secured multiple medals. Carla Jaume earned a silver medal in the 53kg category, while Lydia Pérez also secured silver in the 57kg division. Additionally, six Spanish boxers have reached the semifinals, guaranteeing at least three bronze medals for the delegation.

In Amsterdam, Netherlands, Uruguayan rower Felipe Klüver and Nicole Yarzón are competing in the World Rowing Championships, with Klüver seeking to advance to the medal finals in the lightweight single sculls.
