Sparta to receive new 6 million euro school complex

The Peloponnese Region has signed a contract for the construction of a new school complex in Sparta, with an initial budget of 6 million euros. The project, which includes the 6th Primary School and the 7th Kindergarten of Sparta, marks a transition from the planning phase to active construction.

Peloponnese Regional Governor Dimitris Ptochos stated that the project is part of a broader regional strategy to create modern, safe, and functional educational infrastructure, noting that total interventions across the Peloponnese now exceed 30 million euros. Sparta Mayor Michalis Vakaloppoulos praised the cooperation between local and regional administrations in addressing the essential needs of the educational community.
