Spazio DesTEENazione launches community initiatives in Brindisi and Catanzaro

Spazio DesTEENazione is launching several community-focused initiatives for youth in Italy. In Brindisi, a free self-construction workshop will run from October 1 to 15. Led by designer Vittorio Palumbo and makers Giulia Crastolla and Flavio Russo, the program invites participants aged 11 and up to help requalify a local park by building furniture and artistic installations. This initiative, co-financed by the European Union through the National Program for Inclusion and Lot, aims to foster community care for public spaces following summer vandalism.

In Catanzaro, the DesTEENazione project has established a free study space at the Multifunctional Space on via Discesa Carbone. Designed for youth aged 11 to 18, the facility provides a quiet environment for homework, digital tools including laptops with internet access, and personalized educational support. The service aims to help students develop study methods and time management skills while offering specialized assistance for those with special educational needs.
