Speaker Tajudeen Abbas inaugurates market and distributes fertilizer in northern Nigeria

Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas commissioned a modern community market in Dutsen‑Kura, Kafur LGA of Katsina State. The opening was part of a series of projects that also includes a central mosque, a road, an earth‑dam rehabilitation, and a new skills acquisition centre, aimed at boosting trade and providing a secure venue for farmers, traders and artisans.

On a separate occasion, Abbas distributed 60,000 bags of fertilizer to constituents at the Mallawa Eid Ground in Zaria and to beneficiaries across seven other local governments in Zone 1 of Kaduna State. The beneficiaries – farmers’ associations, women, youth groups, artisans and community leaders – received the fertilizer to support a stronger harvest. Abbas also urged unity within the APC and called for peaceful political engagement.
