Spectacular Smith sued for alleged sexual assault

Spectacular Smith, a founding member of the R&B group Pretty Ricky, is facing a civil lawsuit filed by an Arizona woman, Alexis Dieng. The complaint, filed in Maricopa County Superior Court in August 2026, alleges sexual assault and battery stemming from an encounter in October 2025.

According to the lawsuit, Smith initially contacted Dieng via Instagram under the guise of asking for restaurant recommendations. The plaintiff alleges that Smith cultivated her trust through social media before arranging an in-person meeting. Although an initial location was discussed, Dieng claims she was ultimately directed to a private residence in the Phoenix area.

Dieng alleges that Smith engaged in nonconsensual sexual intercourse and applied physical pressure to her neck, restricting her ability to breathe. Furthermore, the lawsuit claims Smith recorded all or part of the encounter without her knowledge or permission. As of September 2026, no criminal charges have been publicly reported regarding the incident, and Smith’s legal team has not yet responded to the complaint.
