Speed Darlington faces allegations of financial exploitation

Nigerian singer Speed Darlington is facing public accusations of financial exploitation from former associates. His manager, Goski, announced the end of their four-year professional relationship, alleging that he received only ₦250,000 despite helping the singer secure a deal worth ₦30 million. Goski claimed that while there was an agreement for a six percent share of jobs, the lack of a formal contract led to unfair treatment.

Adding to the controversy, entertainer Mcee Slimjoe criticized the singer, describing him as someone people should be cautious about associating with. Slimjoe alleged that he once traveled from Abia State to Lagos to support a Speed Darlington show in 2025, only to receive ₦50,000 in return.

Speed Darlington responded to the allegations by calling Goski a “fraud” and questioning his management abilities, stating that he does not need a manager and would prefer a house help instead. The disputes have sparked significant discussion on social media regarding the singer's financial dealings and professional conduct.
