Spezia President Stillitano calls for humility in Serie C

Spezia Calcio President Charlie Stillitano has called for humility and focus as the club navigates its current campaign in Serie C. Speaking during the inauguration of a historical exhibition at the Stadio Picco celebrating the club’s 120th anniversary, Stillitano emphasized the need to take the season one match at a time despite a strong start.

Stillitano credited the team’s progress to coach Turati, the players, technical director Guido Angelozzi, and owner Tom Roberts. He described the recent relegation as a difficult but important lesson, noting that the club is essentially restarting its history.

American owner Tom Roberts, who has invested nearly 70 million euros into the club following its rescue from potential failure in 2025, remains deeply involved in the project. Stillitano noted that while the current quality of play is high, the leadership remains committed to a cautious, step-by-step approach to ensure long-term stability.
