SpiralAI delays RyzaChat:AI release due to high demand
SpiralAI has announced a delay for the release of ‘RyzaChat:AI: Ryza to Tsukuru Anata dake no Hitonatsu no Yumemonogatari’, an AI-driven chat RPG based on the ‘Atelier Ryza’ series. Originally scheduled for release on August 18, the postponement is due to a higher-than-expected number of pre-registrations, necessitating an upgrade to the server environment to ensure service stability.
The app, licensed from Koei Tecmo Games, features a free-scenario AI chat format where users can engage in RPG modes or casual conversation. It utilizes ‘SpiralLLM’, a proprietary model trained on official series scenarios and settings. The developers emphasized that the project uses human-made assets for illustrations and voice acting, specifically utilizing recordings from voice actress Yuri Noguchi, and does not use generative AI for these elements.
SpiralAI aims to launch the service as soon as possible, with a target of no later than next week. The app will be available on iOS and Android, primarily utilizing a subscription model with additional token purchases for conversation volume.
