Spirit Halloween begins 2026 seasonal store openings in Maryland and Michigan

Spirit Halloween has begun its 2026 seasonal rollout across several regions, including Maryland and Michigan.

In Maryland, the retailer is opening at least 21 locations, occupying former retail spaces such as JoAnn, Party City, Sears, and CVS. As of early August, stores in Annapolis, California, Hagerstown, and Wheaton are already operational, with more scheduled to open throughout the month.

In Michigan, the season has also commenced, with the Portage mall location currently open. Other locations, such as the store on West Main in Kalamazoo, are expected to open later in August.
