Croatian police hunt suspects for Nazi and antisemitic chants

Police in Split-Dalmatia are conducting an extensive investigation into a fan parade held prior to the Hajduk Split vs. Ajax Amsterdam match on October 15. The investigation follows reports of participants chanting Nazi-related slogans, mentioning Adolf Hitler and Auschwitz, and calling for violence against Jewish people.

Authorities have identified 24 individuals suspected of public incitement to violence and hatred. Following an initial phase of the manhunt, two suspects have been apprehended, while others remain at large. Croatian Interior Minister Davor Božinović confirmed that several individuals are under institutional supervision, but seven suspects are still actively fleeing from police.

The Split County Court has already ordered investigative detention for several suspects. Police continue to analyze surveillance footage and have released additional photographs to the public to assist in identifying the remaining individuals involved in the Torcida group march.
