Player Cristian Amicucci stated that the club aims to maintain its position in the league while prioritizing youth development and its formative divisions. The roster will combine experienced players, such as Johnny Machuca, Lucas Díaz, and Julián Roumek, with younger athletes looking to gain experience at the national level.

In Colombian football, the future of Franco Fagúndez at Independiente Santa Fe remains uncertain. Currently on loan from Santos Laguna, the Uruguayan player wishes to stay with the club. However, President Eduardo Méndez noted that the club is in discussions with agents but cannot risk financial instability. Méndez highlighted that low stadium attendance limits the club's ability to invest in permanent signings, noting that retaining players like Fagúndez could cost approximately four million dollars.
