Spotify expands audiobook services to Colombia

Spotify is expanding its audiobook services to more than 180 markets by the end of 2026, with Colombia included in the rollout. Under this expansion, eligible Premium subscribers in Colombia will receive 12 hours of monthly audiobook listening time as part of their existing subscription.

The platform will offer a global catalog of over 350,000 titles in more than 120 languages. The collection includes works from major publishers such as Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial and Grupo Planeta, as well as titles from prominent Colombian authors like Gabriel García Márquez, Pilar Quintana, and Laura Restrepo.

To enhance the user experience, Spotify is introducing features such as automatic bookmarks, a sleep timer, and ‘Page Match,’ which allows users to sync their progress between physical or electronic books and the audiobook. Users who require more than the allotted monthly hours can utilize ‘Audiobooks+’ to purchase additional time or buy specific titles directly.
