Brandenburg foal with unique markings sells for 75,000 euros
A uniquely patterned foal named J-Nimon K, originating from Fehrbellin in Brandenburg, Germany, has gained significant attention due to its striking coat. The tiger-spotted foal, which resembles a Dalmatian or a zebra, was sold for 75,000 euros at a foal auction held at Schloss Schönbrunn in Vienna.
Breeder Steffen Krehl noted that the animal’s appearance was a result of both breeding choices and luck. The foal’s father, a Dutch stallion named Genius, is well-known for his distinctive markings, though such patterns are not guaranteed to be passed on. The buyer of the foal is located in Dubai.
While the foal's future as a show or jumping horse remains to be seen, it has already become a viral sensation online due to its unusual appearance.
