Spring Creek site targeted for new Tamworth solar project

Developers have identified the Spring Creek site near Tamworth for a new solar farm project. During a recent public information session, project representative Mr. Alsampaile noted that the site was selected due to its flat terrain, proximity to a main road, and existing grid connectivity.

An option agreement has been entered into with the current landholder, which allows the project to proceed through the permitting phase before the option is called to begin construction. The region is considered favorable for power projects due to the willingness of local farmers and landholders to host such infrastructure.
