Spuž concert brawl leads to arrests and police officer attack

A mass brawl broke out during an Amadeus Bend concert in Spuž, Montenegro, as part of the ‘Spužko ljeto’ festival. The incident occurred after midnight on a plateau near the Zeta River bridge following a verbal dispute that escalated into physical contact among several individuals.

During the altercation, a criminal police officer from the Danilovgrad Security Department on duty was attacked. Police and security personnel intervened to restore order and detained several individuals for questioning.

The State Prosecutor in Podgorica determined that while the actions did not constitute criminal offenses, they did meet the criteria for misdemeanors under the Law on Public Order and Peace. Two individuals, identified as B.I. (42) and I.I. (36) from Danilovgrad, were detained and faced misdemeanor proceedings in a Podgorica court.
