Square Enix and Nihon Falcom release classic RPG titles on new hardware

Square Enix has released the Classic HD version of Dragon Quest Heroes: Torneko’s Mystery Dungeon in the West. Originally released for the Super Nintendo in 1993, the title had remained exclusive to Japan for over three decades. The game follows the character Torneko, a merchant from Dragon Quest IV, as he explores dungeons to find treasures to expand his shop.

Additionally, Nihon Falcom and NIS America are bringing The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure to newer hardware, including PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. These versions aim to utilize modern console hardware to provide refined visuals and performance for the acclaimed RPG duology, which is set in the interconnected world of Zemuria.
