Squishy dumplings become top-selling toy in Poland and Czech Republic

Seaside stalls along the Polish Baltic coast report a surge in sales of colorful "Squishy Dumplings," soft, kneadable toys that have replaced previous summer hits such as Gęś Pipa, Labubu and capybara figures. Prices range from about 20 zł for smaller pieces up to 80–90 zł for larger models, and the toys are popular thanks to their sensory appeal and the surprise element of blind‑box packaging.

In the Czech Republic, online retailers describe a similarly rapid rise. One e‑shop saw month‑to‑month sales increase twelvefold after adding Squishy Dumplings in May 2026, and the product now accounts for roughly 10‑30 % of total revenue for several sellers. Items cost between 110 CZK and 250 CZK and have prompted stock shortages, prompting retailers to expand their ranges from about 20 to 140 variants within a few months.
