Balkan utility providers announce power and water service updates

Utility providers across the Balkans have announced various service changes and maintenance schedules. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elektroprivreda BiH and Elektroprivreda HZ HB will implement new electricity tariff schedules for households with dual-rate meters starting October 25, following the transition to winter time.

In Montenegro, CEDIS has scheduled widespread power outages in Podgorica, Tuzi, and Zeta due to planned network maintenance. Similarly, planned electrical works will cause power interruptions in several municipalities in Serbia, including parts of Belgrade, Zvezdara, and Voždovac, as well as in Prijepolje, where new high-voltage cables are being installed to strengthen the grid.

Water and infrastructure updates are also underway. East Sarajevo has announced water supply reductions in multiple zones, while Karlovac is undergoing water and sewage pipeline modernization. In Sarajevo, planned electrical works will affect several municipalities including Ilidža, Hadžići, and Vogošća.
