Sri Suparni Bahlil launches HPV vaccination program for women

Sri Suparni Bahlil, advisor to the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, has launched a Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination program aimed at female employees and DWP members. The initiative, part of the 81st anniversary of Mining and Energy, serves 784 registered participants across four cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Cepu.

In addition to the HPV vaccinations, the program provides clinical breast examinations (SADANIS) to promote early detection. Sri Suparni emphasized the importance of proactive health management, urging women not to wait for symptoms to appear before seeking medical attention. She noted that maintaining personal health is vital for the well-being of the family.

The program is supported by several organizations, including the Geological Agency, Dharmais Hospital, PT Bio Farma, and the Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation.
