Sörmland Police warn of new flower delivery impersonation scam

Police in Sörmland are warning the public about a new fraudulent tactic where scammers impersonate flower delivery personnel. According to Alexandra Lindgren, an acting investigation leader at the Eskilstuna fraud section, perpetrators have been knocking on doors while holding flowers to gain entry into residents' homes.

Once inside, the scammers have reportedly demanded compensation or attempted to seize the victims' bank cards. Authorities advise citizens to remain vigilant and not open their doors to such individuals to avoid being targeted by these theft attempts.
