SSC Napoli advances plans for new training center in Qualiano

Negotiations for a new SSC Napoli training center in Qualiano are progressing toward a conclusion. A technical briefing involving designers, Mayor Raffaele De Leonardis, and a notary was scheduled to address the project's development.

Previous delays were caused by bureaucratic hurdles regarding land burdened by mortgages and complex lease agreements with agricultural tenants. These issues are reportedly now easily resolvable. The planned facility will span 17.5 hectares and is intended to house 10 football pitches, along with 7,500 square meters of offices and locker rooms for the first team and youth sectors.

To overcome urban planning constraints on the agricultural land, the project may utilize procedures from the Special Economic Zone (ZES), which offers specific frameworks for strategic sports and tourism infrastructure.
