Napoli explores new tactics and transfer targets

Napoli is actively managing its squad through tactical experimentation and transfer market movements. Manager Massimiliano Allegri is exploring a new formation to simultaneously field four key midfielders: Stanislav Lobotka, Frank Zambo Anguissa, Scott McTominay, and Kevin De Bruyne. This potential “Christmas tree” setup aims to maximize technical quality in high-stakes matches, such as Champions League fixtures.

On the transfer front, Napoli is monitoring Juventus talent Adin Licina, a 2007-born midfielder previously with Bayern Munich, as a long-term prospect. The club is also interested in Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus, though a move depends on generating funds through player departures, such as Noa Lang. Meanwhile, the club has rejected loan offers for Lang to avoid devaluing the player, and has confirmed the continued presence of Lorenzo Lucca in the attacking rotation.

Regarding existing players, Napoli is working toward a contract renewal with Anguissa, who remains a vital part of the squad despite recent rumors. The club has also declined loan interest from Atalanta and Galatasaray for Lang.
