SSC Napoli advances Qualiano sports center project

SSC Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is moving forward with plans to construct a new sports center in Qualiano, with work expected to begin early next year. Despite recent rumors of investigations or seizures, reports indicate that negotiations with local landowners are progressing.

Landowners have reportedly accepted a price reduction on the agricultural plots required for the project. The development is planned to cover approximately 18 hectares and will include ten football pitches, a small 2,000-seat stadium for the Youth League, parking facilities, and a lake.

Legal teams are currently conducting due diligence to ensure the purchase is secure, specifically addressing an ancient mortgage found on one of the land parcels. Additionally, officials have clarified that rumors regarding toxic waste from nearby disused quarries are unfounded, noting that the identified lands have received ARPAC certification for agricultural suitability.
