STADTRADELN 2026 cycling campaign promotes sustainable mobility in Germany

The STADTRADELN 2026 cycling campaign has seen significant participation across various German regions, aimed at promoting sustainable mobility and climate protection by replacing daily car trips with cycling.

In the Pfaffenhofen district, 1,732 cyclists across 118 teams covered a total of 415,458 kilometers during the campaign period from July 4 to July 24. This represents an increase of nearly 100,000 kilometers compared to 2025. The initiative resulted in an estimated reduction of 68 tons of CO2.

In the Warendorf district, the campaign ran from May 9 to May 29, 2026. The event encourages participation from individuals, schools, and companies to compete for the title of most active municipality or team. The initiative continues to build on previous years' successes, including a record of nearly 150,000 kilometers achieved in 2025.
