Kia expands PV5 electric van lineup with six- and seven‑seat models

Kia announced that its fully electric PV5 passenger van, originally launched as a five‑seater at the end of 2025, will also be offered in six‑ and seven‑seat versions. The new configurations target larger families and commercial shuttle services.

Prices start around €40 200 for the six‑seater and €40 190 for the seven‑seater, with a top‑spec six‑seater priced at €41 540. Buyers can choose between 51.5 kWh and 71.2 kWh battery packs, delivering an estimated range of roughly 400 km. Power output is available in 89 kW (122 hp) or 120 kW (163 hp) electric motors. Standard features include dual sliding doors, low entry steps, an 11 m turning circle, four ISOFIX anchors, and generous luggage capacity.

The model‑year 2027 update also adds several comfort and technology upgrades, such as a built‑in infotainment system, climate control, LED headlights, and optional electric power‑assist for the doors. Production of the new variants is scheduled to begin in mid‑July, with Kia providing a seven‑year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight‑year/160,000 km battery guarantee.
