Staff Selection Commission releases SSC CGL Tier 1 admit cards
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Tier 1 admit cards for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode from September 30 to October 30, 2026, across more than 100 cities.
Admit cards are being released in phases based on the candidate's specific examination date. The Commission has noted that admission certificates typically become available two to three days before the respective exam date. Candidates are advised that the absence of an admit card in the portal does not necessarily indicate an application issue, but rather follows the phased rollout schedule.
Candidates can download their hall tickets by logging into the official website, ssc.gov.in, using their registration credentials. The admit card contains essential details including the examination center address, reporting time, and shift timings. This document is distinct from the previously released city intimation slip, which was intended only for travel planning and cannot be used for entry into the examination center.
