Star Academy season 14 announces new director and safety measures

The 14th season of Star Academy is set to premiere on October 10, 2026, at the Dammarie-les-Lys castle. This season features several significant changes, including Mosimann succeeding Michael Goldman as director. Mosimann, a former season 7 winner, will be absent from the second live broadcast on October 17 to begin his ‘Dream Tour,’ which includes a 24-hour musical marathon.

In terms of casting, the new cohort will consist of students aged 18 to 26 from France, Guadeloupe, Belgium, and Quebec. To address the risks of online harassment, production has implemented new digital security measures. This includes daily moderation of online comments and a partnership with the association e-enfance to protect students from cyberbullying.
