Star Clippers announces family sailing cruise programs for 2026-2027

Star Clippers, the world's largest provider of sailing cruises, has announced family-oriented travel offerings for the winter 2026 and spring 2027 seasons. The company will utilize its three large sailing ships—the Star Flyer, Star Clipper, and Royal Clipper—to offer adventures such as snorkeling, wildlife observation, and exploring Caribbean islands.

To encourage family participation, the company is offering special pricing on selected voyages. The first child travels almost free of charge, paying only minor port fees, while additional children can receive discounts of up to 50 percent during the upcoming Christmas and Easter holiday periods.

Specific routes include trips along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica from Puerto Caldera to the Islas Tortugas, featuring activities like kayaking and glass-bottom boat tours. Other routes will navigate away from major cruise ship lanes to visit smaller Caribbean islands.
