Star Trek celebrates 60th anniversary with LEGO set and fan event

The Star Trek franchise is marking its 60th anniversary with various commemorative releases and events.

LEGO has announced the LEGO Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge set, a 1,701-piece model that recreates the iconic bridge and transporter room. The set includes eight new Starfleet crew minifigures, such as Kirk, Spock, and Uhura, along with various accessories like phasers and communicators. The model is designed as a detailed diorama and will be available for purchase on September 1.

Additionally, Paramount+ is hosting a free fan event titled ‘60 Years of Star Trek – Space For Everybody’ at Movie Park Germany on September 8. The event will feature a dedicated cinema showing selected episodes, stage programs with voice cast members from Voyager and The Next Generation, and scientific presentations regarding the Star Trek universe. During the celebration, regular park operations at Movie Park Germany will be suspended.
