Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown receives Q Trials update and Equinox DLC

Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer gameXcite have released a free update for Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown, introducing a new roguelite game mode titled ‘Q Trials’.

Designed for high replayability, the Q Trials mode features procedural events and random sector goals within the Delta Quadrant. Players can utilize extensive customization, including unconventional crew assignments such as promoting Harry Kim to Captain. The mode includes ‘Q modifiers’ that alter gameplay mechanics, such as increasing crew capacity at the cost of increased sickness. Players can earn permanent meta-progression through rewards like resources, new heroes, or new technologies.

Alongside the free update, the ‘Equinox’ DLC has been released as part of the game’s Expansion Pass or as a standalone purchase. This DLC introduces the U.S.S. Equinox as an alternative playable ship specifically for use within the Q Trials mode.
