Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown updates

Overview

Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer gameXcite have released several updates and expansions for the survival strategy game Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown.

In early October, a free update introduced the ‘Q Trials’ roguelite game mode, which features procedural events, random sector goals, and ‘Q modifiers’ that alter gameplay mechanics. This update was accompanied by the ‘Equinox’ DLC, which provides the U.S.S. Equinox as an alternative playable ship for the new mode.

Later in the month, the ‘Delta Chronicles 2’ DLC was released. This expansion includes five new missions based on television series storylines involving characters and factions such as Q, the Swarm, the Kraylor, and the Annari. The DLC features voiced ‘Q Logs’ performed by John de Lancie, new recruitable heroes, new technologies, and additional non-player character ships.
