Star Wars Ahsoka Season 2 Promises More Action and New Villains, Says Actor Eman Esfandi

Actor Eman Esfandi, who portrays Ezra Bridger, told interviewers that the upcoming second season of the live‑action series *Star Wars Ahsoka* will focus on heightened action, with extensive battles, lightsaber duels and explosions. He highlighted that the storyline will follow Ahsoka Tano’s fight against Grand Admiral Thrawn and the rebuilding Empire, and will introduce new antagonists such as Baylan Skoll linked to the Mortis gods.

Esfandi said showrunner and Lucasfilm chief Dave Filoni is giving the production “full creative freedom,” removing earlier constraints and steering the series toward a darker, more adult‑drama tone. The first season, which successfully bridged the animated *Star Wars Rebels* and the live‑action *The Mandalorian*, was a critical and ratings success, setting the stage for a more epic continuation.
