Star Wars: Zero Company reaches 1 million wishlists

Electronic Arts has confirmed that the upcoming tactical strategy game, ‘Star Wars: Zero Company’, has surpassed 1 million additions to player wishlists. Developed by Bit Reactor, the title is set during the Clone Wars era and follows Hawks, a former Republic officer leading a group of mercenaries known as Zero Company.

Set for release on August 27 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game features turn-based combat inspired by the XCOM series. Players will manage action points, recruit combatants, and upgrade equipment while making strategic decisions on a global map that impact squad development.

Greg Foertsch, head of Bit Reactor, noted that the game’s narrative approach was inspired by the AMC series ‘Turn: Washington’s Spies’. The goal was to create an original story with unique characters that exists within the established Star Wars canon, allowing players to customize their experience while interacting with the broader historical context of the franchise.
