Star Wars Zero Company releases Patch 1.2 with modular difficulty

Bit Reactor, EA, and Lucasfilm Games have released Patch 1.2 for Star Wars Zero Company. This update follows the game reaching a sales milestone of 1 million copies across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

The patch introduces a modular difficulty system called Campaign Modifiers. Unlike traditional difficulty settings, these allow players to customize specific gameplay rules to increase challenge without simply increasing enemy health or damage. Key features include the ability to remove the injury system—resulting in instant death for downed operatives—or to reduce the number of injuries allowed before permanent death.

Additional tactical modifiers allow players to eliminate character health scaling, making operatives more vulnerable as the campaign advances. Players can also restrict the ability to respec, limiting or removing the option to swap classes and weapons. The update also includes bug fixes and reduced costs for upgrading the Den.
