Starbucks Japan launches seasonal Pumpkin Soupchino

Starbucks Coffee Japan has launched its seasonal ‘Pumpkin Soupchino’ at locations across the country, starting September 30. This beverage is a cappuccino-style soup featuring Hokkaido pumpkin, prepared by baristas who steam each cup individually to create a light, frothy texture.

The recipe incorporates onion and celery flavors, accented with black pepper, nutmeg, and a hint of maple to enhance the natural sweetness of the pumpkin. Customers can customize the drink by switching to soy milk for a richer taste, which is offered for free, while other milk alternatives incur a small additional fee.

The product follows the popularity of previous seasonal soup offerings and is intended to provide a warm, comforting option for customers during cooler weather.
