Starbucks Korea launches historical culture program for children

Starbucks Korea has launched a historical and cultural experience program for children and youth at local children's centers. In partnership with ChildFund Korea, the company has committed to donating 300 million KRW over the next three years, providing 100 million KRW annually, to support approximately 1,000 children each year.

The initiative aims to provide hands-on educational opportunities outside the classroom, allowing students to connect textbook history with actual artifacts. The program's first activity involved approximately 30 elementary school students from the Pureun Narae Local Children's Center visiting the National Museum of Korea to explore various historical eras and artifacts.

Starbucks and ChildFund Korea are currently recruiting the first group of 500 participants through November, with an additional 500 participants to be recruited during the winter vacation period.
