Starbucks launches orange‑mango Frappuccino lineup across Japan
Starbucks Coffee Japan introduced three summer‑oriented beverages on 22 July, available at most Japanese stores. The main item, the “ぎゅぎゅっと オレンジ&マンゴー フラペチーノ®”, combines four varieties of orange with mango juice (under 5 %), featuring orange pulp and blood‑orange jelly in the cup bottom. The second drink, “チラックス ソーダ オレンジ&マンゴー”, adds carbonated water to a similar fruit blend, while the third, “クラフト ジューシー オレンジ&マンゴー ティー”, mixes the fruit mix into black tea. Tall‑size pricing ranges from ¥707 for the Frappuccino (take‑away) to ¥579–¥618 for the soda and tea, with in‑store prices about ¥10 higher. The products are being sold nationwide, though some locations may experience temporary shortages or early discontinuation.
Both announcements highlight optional customisations, such as added syrups or alternative tea bases, and note that the drinks contain less than 5 % mango juice, aligning with the brand’s seasonal menu strategy.
