StartupLab Patagonia begins construction in Puerto Varas

Construction has begun for StartupLab Patagonia in Puerto Varas, a project designed to strengthen the biotechnological and scientific-technological ecosystem in Chile's Los Lagos Region. Led by Patagonia Biotech Hub and supported by Corfo, the initiative aims to develop approximately 1,000 square meters of infrastructure over the next five years.

The facility is intended to support around 100 startups by providing access to specialized laboratories, acceleration programs, and connections to industry. The project seeks to establish Puerto Varas as a biotechnology hub with potential for international market expansion, facilitating the development and scaling of scientific-based solutions from the southern regions of the country.
