Starz reveals season 2 details for Outlander: Blood of My Blood

Starz has released a trailer and poster for the second season of the Outlander prequel, ‘Outlander: Blood of My Blood’. The new season is scheduled to premiere on September 18, 2026, with episodes airing weekly on Fridays.

The 10-episode season follows the ancestors of Claire and Jamie during the Jacobite rising of 1715. The plot centers on the separation of the two main couples: Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia Beauchamp (Hermione Corfield), and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater).

According to the trailer, the season explores the aftermath of the characters' encounter with the standing stones of Craigh Na Dun. Henry is shown appearing in a different era at a psychiatric hospital, while Julia faces the dangers of Lord Lovat (Tony Curran) at Castle Leathers. The series continues under the creative direction of showrunner Matthew B. Roberts and executive producer Ronald D. Moore.
