State Fair of Texas announces 2026 Big Tex Choice Award winners
The State Fair of Texas has announced the winners of its 22nd annual Big Tex Choice Awards. A judging panel evaluated 15 finalists to select the top culinary entries for 2026.
The winners include:
• Best Taste - Savory: Burger Chop Tater Tacos by Tom Grace. • Best Taste - Sweet: Fletcher’s Chocolate Corny Dog by Beck Fletcher. • Best Taste - Sipper: Tropical Coco Fresca by Fruteria Cano. • Most Creative: Berry Me in Matcha by Stephen El Gidi.
The competition was presented by Karbach Brewing Company. The 2026 State Fair of Texas is scheduled to run from September 25 through October 18 at Fair Park in Dallas.
