State of Mexico invests 31 million pesos in Atenco and Texcoco schools

The Government of the State of Mexico has allocated more than 31 million pesos to improve educational infrastructure, equipment, and furniture in schools located in Atenco and Texcoco. This investment aims to benefit approximately 4,500 students across 16 different schools.

In Atenco, 23.15 million pesos were directed toward the reconversion of the Centro de Estudios de Bachillerato (CEB) 9/14. Additionally, 2.33 million pesos were used to provide laptops and furniture to 14 schools, benefiting 3,083 students. Other projects include the start of construction for a three-classroom regional module at the Vicente Guerrero Primary School and the inauguration of a FIFA Arena sports court, funded through a partnership involving FIFA, the Mexican Football Federation, and the Inter-American Development Bank.

In Texcoco, 3.57 million pesos were invested in the general rehabilitation, equipment, and furniture for the Leona Vicario Primary School, benefiting 926 students. Furthermore, construction has begun on the Margarita Maza National Baccalaureate, a project supported by a 15.4 million peso federal investment.
