State of Mexico Judiciary certifies third generation of private facilitators

The Judiciary of the State of Mexico has certified a third generation of more than 100 private facilitators through the Public Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms. These professionals are trained to assist citizens in resolving conflicts through dialogue, mediation, and conciliation to prevent disputes from escalating into formal court trials.

During the ceremony held in Toluca, Héctor Macedo García, President of the Superior Court of Justice, emphasized that justice cannot rely solely on traditional courts. He urged the new facilitators to play an active role in building agreements and promoting a culture of peace, noting that alternative methods expand the capacity to address social conflicts and involve the community in the justice process.
