State of Mexico municipalities upgrade water supply infrastructure
The government of Tlalnepantla inaugurated the deep well “Los Rosarios,” a 18.263‑million‑peso project that will extract about 30 liters per second to serve 17,280 residents across 11 sections of the El Rosario housing complex.
In Naucalpan, officials completed a 4.854‑million‑peso rehabilitation of a 263‑cubic‑metre water tank in the Jardines de La Florida neighborhood. The work included structural repairs, an anti‑corrosion coating, new electrobombing equipment and a telemetry system that monitors pressure, flow and operation in real time, benefiting roughly 5,000 inhabitants. Both projects are part of municipal water‑security plans aimed at modernising supply, improving reliability and protecting public health.
