Puebla police officer wounded in Chipilo armed confrontation
A state police officer was wounded during an armed confrontation and high-speed chase in the Chipilo de Francisco Javier Mina community, located in the San Gregorio Atzompa municipality of Puebla.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when state and municipal police attempted a preventive inspection of a gray Volkswagen Tiguan traveling without license plates. A large-scale inter-institutional operation is underway to locate the suspects. Participating agencies include the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the National Guard, the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), and the Federal Attorney General's Office (FGR). As of the latest reports, no arrests have been made.
