Staten Island suspected murder-suicide leaves mother and boyfriend dead
Authorities are investigating a suspected murder-suicide on Staten Island that left a mother and her boyfriend dead. Dana Foley, 39, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to the torso on Thursday morning inside a residence on Garth Court in the Richmond neighborhood.
Police reported that her boyfriend, 27-year-old Dakota Suckstorff, who lived at the home, was found with a gunshot wound to the head and later died at a hospital. Investigators recovered a firearm near Suckstorff’s hand at the scene.
Friends and family have launched a GoFundMe campaign to support Foley’s young son, Lennon. Those close to Foley described her as a devoted mother whose life centered on her child.
