Stathis Schizas sparks controversy over Survivor accident comments

Former Survivor winner Stathis Schizas has sparked controversy following his comments regarding Stavros Floros, who suffered a severe injury during the filming of the reality show in the Dominican Republic.

During a television appearance, Schizas suggested that Floros should not pursue legal action against the show's production company. Using the idiom, “the hand that feeds you should not be bitten,” Schizas noted that many participants have profited significantly from the program and its associated projects, arguing that hostility toward the production is unnecessary.

These remarks drew sharp criticism from presenter Stamatina Tsimtsili on the program ‘Happy Day’. Tsimtsili described Schizas' position as “unacceptable,” arguing that he failed to grasp the gravity of Floros' situation, noting that the accident has fundamentally and permanently altered the individual's life.
