The victory moves Steaua up to 18th place with 5 points, while Gloria Bistrița falls to 11th place with 12 points following their second consecutive defeat.

Following the match, Steaua coach Daniel Oprița expressed significant frustration regarding the club's ongoing situation and the challenges of competing in the second division. Oprița noted that the environment has been difficult, stating, “I am suffocating from all these years in Liga 2.” He highlighted the difficulties in recruiting players and managing squad depth, mentioning that he often has to field players dealing with medical or personal issues due to a lack of alternatives. Despite the instability, Oprița indicated he remains at the club for the time being after discussions with leadership, expressing an ambition to eventually elevate the team to a higher level.
