Stefano Bonaccini urges broad centre‑left alliance at Varese Unity Party gathering

Stefano Bonaccini, president of Italy's Democratic Party, addressed supporters at the Festa dell’Unità in the Schiranna venue in Varese on 20 June. He warned that a narrow coalition of four parties – illustrated by a recent selfie with Schlein, Conte, Fratoianni and himself – would not be enough to stop a return to power for Giorgia Meloni.
