Stefanos Kasselakis offers recommendation letters to SYRIZA MPs who quit

Stefanos Kasselakis, leader of the Democrats‑Progressive Center, posted a video on social media mocking the recent wave of resignations from the SYRIZA parliamentary group. In the video he said, “I see you jumping from the ship that is sinking,” and added that he would gladly write a recommendation letter for any departing member who needs one for a private‑sector job.

His comments came as several SYRIZA lawmakers, including MP Semyon Kedikoglu, announced their departures from both the parliamentary group and party structures. Kasselakis also referenced the “mountain party” remark, further criticizing the internal turmoil within SYRIZA.
